energy | performance | identity - breakdancer, photographer & coach
chris schmidt knows what it means to deliver under pressure. as a breakdancer he stepped on stage for the first time at age 10, later performing in front of 20,000 people at berlin’s waldbühne. he has supported himself since the age of 15 – first through dance, then as a photographer with exhibitions in berlin, major campaigns, and three mentions in the book „blickfang – germany’s best photographers“.
his story isn’t a straight line. he has worked as a bouncer, founded companies and closed them again, overcome addiction, and chose a sober life at the end of 2019. it’s exactly these fractures that make him credible when he works with performers, founders, and creatives today: he doesn’t talk about resilience, he earned it.
today chris is an identity coach and founder of grounded performer. he works with people who once had fire and lost it along the way – helping them find it again without losing themselves in the process. his approach combines stage experience, entrepreneurial practice, and serious coaching training (deep ocean coach, the coaching leader, nlp master).
on his podcast artist uncut, he talks with artists and performers about what happens behind the façade: doubt, pressure, new beginnings. chris brings that same authenticity to the stage – energetic, direct, with humor and without the tough-guy pose.
